Highlights by A.S.B: Cannes Film Festival 2015: Great authors, established filmmakers and new promises … And good Colombian fee.

Cannes 1

From 13 to 24 May will be developing another edition of the festival of the world’s most prestigious film. In a year where it seemed that there would be Latin America’s share in the official fiction section finally the Mexican Michel Franco was announced to compete for the coveted Palme d’Or. The jury will be chaired by American filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen, in company will also have different personalities as Rossy de Palma, Spanish actress; Sienna Miller, British actress; Rokia Traoré, Malian composer and interpreter; Guillermo del Toro, Mexican filmmaker; Sophie Marceau, French actress; Xavier Dolan, director and actor Jake Gyllenhaal Canadian, American actor. These artists will have the mission to deliver the next Palme d’Or.

In the official section and the alternate, we will see the presence of great authors of worship, established filmmakers and new promises, which always proposes Cannes, the festival whereby all dying to be.

This year the festival will have the distinction of having three Colombian films spread over 3 alternate sections of the festival: Un Certain Regard (ALIAS MARIA), Semaine de la Critique (LA TIERRA Y LA SOMBRA) and Fortnight (EL ABRAZO DE LA SERPIENTE). Equally important sections, where they will compete with renowned directors. The complete list of films in competition:
